Check a report

Enter a Report ID or select an Offenders.io Verification Report PDF. You can find the Report ID inside the PDF.

Report ID check and PDF check are different

The Report ID confirms an issuance record. Compare the Report ID and generated time below with your report. To confirm that your file is the exact PDF issued by Offenders.io, choose it below. Scanning the QR alone does not verify the contents of a PDF or printed copy.

Your PDF is checked locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Offenders.io.

Evidence you can independently check

Point-in-time report

A Verification Report freezes the available indexed evidence and fresh source attempts when the report is generated. It distinguishes live observations from earlier registry evidence.

Signed and traceable

Each completed report has a signed manifest and exact PDF SHA-256. A matching result means the entire PDF file is byte-for-byte identical to the issued copy.

Private verification

Your selected PDF stays on your device. The browser reads its Report ID and hash locally; our public receipt discloses no searched person, account, or report contents.

Customers can create reports from the Dashboard or authenticated API, then poll for completion. Verification is separate from screening decisions and does not determine eligibility.
